Privacy Policy

The short version: Your generated images, videos, and vault live on your computer. API keys are stored locally on your device. We do not run servers that receive your creative content. When you generate or post, requests go directly from your machine to xAI and X.

1. Who this applies to

This policy describes how Viral Visual Lab ("the app", "we", "Recon6 Studios") handles information on macOS and Windows.

2. Data stored on your device

The app stores locally:

Your Vault — prompts, metadata, and exported media paths in a local SQLite database
Settings — including your xAI API key and X OAuth tokens (encrypted via the OS keychain / secure store where available)
Generated files — images and videos saved to your user data directory

We do not upload your vault or media to Recon6 Studios servers.

3. Third-party services you connect

When you use the app, your device communicates with services you configure:

xAI (Grok Imagine) — prompts and generation requests are sent to api.x.ai using your API key. See xAI's privacy policy.
X (Twitter) — if you connect an account, OAuth tokens and post/media uploads go to X's API. See X's privacy policy.

You choose whether to connect X. Image and video generation only require xAI.

4. Analytics & tracking

Viral Visual Lab does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting that sends personal content to Recon6 Studios. Usage totals shown in Settings are computed locally from API responses.

5. Website

This marketing site (recon6studios.app) may use standard web hosting logs. Download links may be served from Cloudflare R2 or static hosting — no account is required to download the app.
