Do I need a Grok API key?
No for reading RSS. AI tools (Super Summary, Fact Check, Web Research, and similar) need your own xAI Grok key in Preferences, or a local Ollama setup.
What is PulseAI Feeds Pro?
Pro unlocks the AI research tools (Super Summary, Fact Check, Web Research, and similar). Current personal Mac builds include Pro unlocked. RSS reading, Smart Feeds, and archive search work without AI. AI features still need your xAI Grok key or local Ollama.
Is this still on the Mac App Store?
Not currently for sale on the Mac App Store. PulseAI Feeds is distributed as a personal Mac app. If you previously purchased Pro on the store, email support with details and we can help.
How do I import feeds from another reader?
Export an OPML file from your old reader, then in PulseAI Feeds use Import OPML. See the guide for first-time setup tips.
Where is my data stored?
On your Mac (SQLite archive + preferences). We do not run a PulseAI Feeds cloud account. Optional AI calls go to services you configure (xAI or Ollama).
Feeds aren't updating
Click Refresh. Confirm the feed URL still works in a browser. Some sites block scrapers — try an alternate feed URL if available.
