Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
The short version: Your feeds and article archive stay on your Mac. We do not require a Recon6 account. If you use AI features, requests go from your device to xAI or your local Ollama — using keys you provide.
1. Who this applies to
This policy describes how PulseAI Feeds ("the app", Recon6 Studios) handles information on macOS.
2. Data stored on your device
The app stores locally:
- Feed subscriptions, folders, and article archive (SQLite)
- Preferences (theme, retention, AI settings)
- Optional API keys and tokens you enter (e.g. xAI, X)
- Local entitlement / Pro state
We do not operate a PulseAI Feeds cloud backend that receives your feed library.
3. Network activity
- RSS / Atom feeds — the app fetches feed URLs you subscribe to.
- xAI (Grok) — if you add an API key and use AI tools, prompts are sent to api.x.ai. See xAI's privacy policy.
- Ollama — optional local AI; requests stay on your machine / LAN.
- X API — only if you configure posting for Super Threads.
4. Analytics & tracking
PulseAI Feeds does not include third-party advertising SDKs or analytics that send your reading history to Recon6 Studios.
5. Website
This marketing site (recon6studios.app) may use standard web hosting logs (e.g. Cloudflare).
